Technologies and Permissions
WELDING TECHNOLOGIES
The basic processes used in the manufacturing of steel structures are welding technologies. In ZBUD Ltd.welded joints are made with the use of methods listed below:
- semi-automatic welding methods,
- manual electrode welding,
- gas-shielded welding with infusible electrode,
- automatic welding with self-propelled carriages.
QUALITY SYSTEM
In 2009, the company introduced and applied Quality System in Welding in accordance with PN-EN ISO 3834-2 - Full Requirements of Quality - certified by the UDT-Cert.-2
CERTIFICATION
In this year ZBUD Ltd. was qualified by the Welding Institute in Gliwice to group I of Large Plants in accordance with PN-M-69009 -3 obtaining the permissions for manufacturing, assembly and repair of welded structures of class 1, 2 and 3 according to PN-M-69008-3 and steel constructions according to requirements of PN-B-06200.
OFFSHORE
A rich experience gained in constructions produced both for the domestic market and foreign one as well as meeting of stringent criteria OFFSHORE allowed us to qualify the welding technologies under the auspices ofsuch classification societies as DNV, ABS and UDT.
Inter alia for the following groups of materials:
- unalloyed steels,
- low- grade and high-grade steels,
- fine-grain structural steels and thermo-mechanically rolled steels,
- quenched and tempered steels,
- austenitic stainless steels and martensitic steels – soft,
- non-ferrous metals and their alloys.
HEAT TREATMENT OF WELDED JOINTS
ZBUD Ltd. has a capacity to perform heat treatment of welded joints / structures along with the recording of processes and also its heating before welding by resistive method, with the use of our own heating equipment.
ENGINEERING STAFF (IWE / EWE) AND PERSONNEL (ABS,DNV,UDT)
Highly qualified engineers with international competencies (IWE / EWE) ensure proper supervision of welding.
The quality of the connections ensures certified staff (more than 30 welders and welding machine operators - the certificates) and the company has a cell of non-destructive testing (operators grade II according to 473) controlling the connections by methods UT, MT, PT, VT.
- Permissions for design, manufacturing, installation, service, modernization of overhead cranes, cranes, hoisting devices, lifting jacks as well as manufacturing of steel structures.
- Permissions of the Military Technical Supervision (WDT).
- Permissions to carry out modernization of overhead cranes, winches, hoists as well fixed cranes.
- Certificate of Ultrasonic Testing.
- Certificate of Magnetic-Particle Testing.
- Certificate of Visual Testing.
- Certificate of Penetrant Testing.
- Certificate of Non-Destructive Testing.
